These terms govern your use of TapQ and outline the rights and responsibilities for both you and us.

Agreement Overview

By using TapQ, you agree to these terms of service. These terms create a legal agreement between you and TapQ, Inc. Please read them carefully.

If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use our service. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Account Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
  • You're responsible for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • One person per account - sharing accounts is prohibited

Acceptable Use

  • Use TapQ for lawful purposes only
  • Respect intellectual property rights
  • No harassment, spam, or malicious content
  • Don't attempt to breach our security measures
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Content Ownership

  • You retain ownership of content you create
  • Grant us license to display and distribute your content
  • You're responsible for content you share publicly
  • We may remove content that violates our policies
  • Backup your important content regularly

Service Availability

  • We strive for 99.9% uptime but can't guarantee it
  • Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance
  • We're not liable for service interruptions
  • Free accounts have usage limitations
  • Premium features require active subscription

Limitation of Liability

  • Service provided 'as is' without warranties
  • We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages
  • Maximum liability limited to amount paid in past 12 months
  • You assume risk for your use of the service
  • Some jurisdictions don't allow liability limitations

Termination

  • Either party may terminate at any time
  • We may suspend accounts for policy violations
  • Data export available for 30 days after termination
  • Paid subscriptions refunded on a pro-rata basis
  • Certain provisions survive termination

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration will take place in San Francisco, California, and will be conducted in English.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action must be brought in the federal or state courts located in San Francisco, California.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. We may assign our rights and obligations under these terms, but you may not assign yours without our written consent.
